Starbucks has welcomed the new year with a fresh winter menu that brings new flavours and returning favourites to stores starting Tuesday, Jan. 6. The seasonal update replaces the holiday lineup and introduces drinks that highlight caramel, pistachio, and Dubai chocolate-inspired tastes.

Coffee fans will notice the farewell of popular holiday items as the winter selection takes over. The company aims to offer drinks that feel comforting during colder months while adding something new for curious customers.

New Drinks Join the Menu

The winter menu introduces two new protein-based drinks that will stay on the regular menu beyond the season. These include the Caramel Protein Latte and the Caramel Protein Matcha. Both drinks come hot or iced and offer an option made with sugar-free caramel syrup.

Pistachio also returns as a key flavour this winter. Starbucks has added pistachio to its year-round offerings while featuring several pistachio drinks for a limited time. These include the Pistachio Latte, Pistachio Frappuccino, Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, and a new Pistachio Cortado.

Two Dubai chocolate-inspired drinks also make their official debut. After strong interest in a previous recipe, Starbucks has added the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha and the Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha to the winter menu. Both drinks combine rich chocolate notes with pistachio cream and a salted topping.

Comfort Drinks With a Seasonal Twist

The Pistachio Cortado stands out as a bold option for espresso lovers. It uses concentrated espresso shots paired with steamed milk and pistachio flavour. Other drinks offer sweeter choices with whipped cream, cold foam, and layered textures that suit winter sipping.

With this mix, Starbucks continues to balance indulgent flavours with drinks designed for daily routines.

Food Items Return and New Snacks Arrive

The winter menu also brings back popular snacks and introduces new food options. Valentine Cake Pops have returned for the season, featuring a festive design and classic vanilla cake.

Starbucks has also updated one of its long-standing breakfast sandwiches. The Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich now includes cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and sharper white cheddar cheese.

A new addition, Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites, offers a rich and savoury option made with eggs, mushrooms, and cheese. Protein-focused snacks like Khloud Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn Popcorn and select Greek yogurt flavours will remain available year-round.

Seasonal Drinkware and Collectibles

Alongside the menu, Starbucks has released new drinkware for winter. Customers can find Valentine’s Day-themed tumblers and mugs, as well as items celebrating the Year of the Horse, which begins in February. Collectors can also purchase a themed keychain featuring a miniature bearista character.

Reserve Locations Add Special Items

Select Reserve locations in Chicago and New York have also introduced exclusive drinks and food items. These locations now offer specialty lattes, pastries, and new whole bean coffees designed for a more premium experience.
