Subway is making a big push to attract customers with a new promotion that offers footlong sandwiches at a much lower price. For the next two weeks, you can grab any footlong sub from the menu for just $6.99. This deal is part of a broader trend where fast-food chains like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy's, and Taco Bell are rolling out value meals to keep customers coming in despite rising prices.
Usually, Subway’s footlongs range from $10 to $14, not including extras like bacon or avocado, which still come with additional costs. But now, you can enjoy any footlong for just $6.99, a significant saving that Subway hopes will appeal to budget-conscious diners.

Doug Fry, President of Subway North America, shared that many people are feeling the pinch financially and may need to cut back on quality or variety to stay within budget. Fry believes this new deal will allow customers to enjoy their favourite sandwiches without breaking the bank. “Our menu is full of footlongs for every budget, and this new deal means our guests can get the sandwiches they crave at a great value,” he said.

To take advantage of this promotion, simply use the promo code “699FL” on the Subway app or website. The offer starts on Monday, August 26, and runs through Sunday, September 8. Subway is also introducing a range of sweet and savoury snacks priced at $5 or less during this period.

The move comes as part of a competitive landscape in the fast-food industry, where chains are constantly adjusting their pricing and promotions to attract and retain customers. While Subway’s deal is only for a limited time, it mirrors a broader trend among fast-food chains to offer discounted menu items as they try to address growing concerns about food affordability.

Will Subway extend this promotion beyond the two weeks? Only time will tell, but for now, it's a great chance to enjoy their footlong sandwiches at a bargain price.
