Frank’s RedHot is teaming up with Taco Bell to launch four new crispy chicken dishes packed with spicy flavour. Taco Bell
Taco Bell is heating things up again with a bold new twist. After bringing back its famous Crispy Chicken Nuggets earlier this year, the chain is now teaming up with Frank’s RedHot for a limited-time menu that’s sure to grab attention and taste buds alike.
Starting October 16, Taco Bell fans can enjoy four new dishes made with Frank’s RedHot Diablo Sauce. The sauce combines the original tangy kick of Frank’s RedHot with Taco Bell’s smoky Diablo and creamy Spicy Ranch flavours. The result is a mix of heat and flavour that balances spice with savoury goodness.
What’s on the Menu
The new lineup includes Frank's RedHot Diablo Crispy Chicken Burrito, Crispy Chicken Soft Taco, Nacho Fries, and Crispy Chicken Strips. Each dish features Taco Bell’s signature Crispy Chicken, coated with crunchy tortilla bits and layered with spicy, smoky sauce.
For those who prefer a milder bite, the chain also offers Avocado Ranch as a replacement. According to the company, Frank’s RedHot isn’t overwhelmingly spicy, but the option for a creamy swap is available for anyone who wants a gentler flavour.
The burrito comes loaded with crispy chicken, lettuce, purple cabbage, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and the Diablo sauce for $5.50. The soft taco is priced at $3, while the loaded Nacho Fries cost $5. The Crispy Chicken Strips, served with Spicy Ranch and a side of Frank’s RedHot Diablo, are available for $7.
A Winning Combination
Frank’s RedHot has long been a favourite for game day snacks, especially Buffalo chicken wings. The brand traces its history back to 1964, when Buffalo wings first took flight in New York.
Valda Coryat, vice president of marketing at McCormick & Company, which owns Frank’s RedHot, said the collaboration shows how versatile the sauce can be. “This collab demonstrates the versatility of Frank’s RedHot by bringing its characteristic balance of bold flavour and heat to ignite every bite,” she said.
Liz Matthew, Taco Bell’s global chief innovation officer, called the sauce a “hero” ingredient that continues to inspire new menu creations.
A Year of Bold Moves
Taco Bell has spent much of this year experimenting with spicy, creative, and crowd-pleasing flavours. The chain worked with Mike’s Hot Honey earlier this year on a sweet-and-spicy sauce that followed similar trends in the fast-food world.
At the brand’s annual Live Más conference, CEO Sean Tresvant said Taco Bell’s approach reflects the founder’s original spirit. “What we believe he was trying to do 63 years ago was feed curiosity for the unconventional,” Tresvant said.
With this new partnership, Taco Bell continues to surprise fans with bold, fun ideas — and plenty of heat. Whether you’re a spice lover or just craving something new, it might be time for a trip to the drive-thru.
