Taylor Swift continues to shine brighter than ever after the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The album shattered multiple records within days and set social media abuzz with excitement. To celebrate, the 35-year-old superstar enjoyed a night out in New York City, looking effortlessly stunning.
Taylor caught everyone’s attention in a chic, long-sleeved black top paired with a plaid Miu Miu miniskirt. She completed the look with tan stiletto-heeled boots that reached her knees. Her signature red lipstick and warm smile lit up the evening.
The singer carried a small Dior handbag, wore a simple gold bracelet, and proudly showed off her sparkling engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce, who proposed in August.
A Ring with a Love Story
During a radio appearance on Heart Breakfast, Taylor revealed that Travis designed the vintage-inspired ring himself, working with jeweller Kindred Lubeck. The ring features an old mine-cut diamond with a timeless look.
“I had shown him a video a year and a half ago of her work,” Taylor said. “When I saw the ring, I gasped. I knew right away who made it. It meant so much because it showed he really listens.”

A Sweet and Surprising Proposal
Taylor also shared details about the romantic proposal during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The engagement took place in Travis’s backyard after they recorded an episode of his podcast, New Heights.
She explained that Travis pretended to be nervous about the show to keep her from noticing the setup. “There were blackout curtains over every window,” she laughed. “He was walking around saying, ‘My heart’s racing. I just want this to be perfect.’ He’s never nervous, so I knew something was up.”
The couple later announced their engagement on Instagram, posting photos with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Power Couple in the Spotlight
Taylor and Travis began dating in 2023 after he joked publicly about failing to meet her during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. Their relationship quickly became one of the most talked-about in entertainment.
Taylor has supported Travis throughout his NFL career, often cheering him on at Kansas City Chiefs games. Despite rumours she would headline the Super Bowl halftime show, Taylor made it clear that her focus remains on her relationship and music.
“I love Jay-Z, and our teams talk,” she said. “But I’m in love with someone who plays that sport every week. I’m too locked in watching him to think about performing there myself.”
