The journey of The Reklaws on "America's Got Talent" has come to an end.
The Canadian country duo, consisting of siblings Stuart and Jenna Walker, were eliminated from the competition on Wednesday night after their quarterfinal performance didn't gather enough votes from fans.
Despite the crowd's enthusiastic response to their rendition of "Long Live the Night" during Tuesday's live show, judges Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell expressed that the performance didn't meet the high expectations set by their initial audition.
Earlier in the competition, the siblings had wowed all four judges with "People Don’t Talk," a heartfelt song inspired by their late mother's battle with mental health issues.
While The Reklaws have already established themselves as one of Canada's leading country music acts, they were hoping that their appearance on the popular NBC show, which also airs on Citytv in Canada, would boost their visibility in Nashville.
Hailing from North Dumfries, Ontario, the duo has been performing together since 2012 and has earned eight Canadian Country Music Association awards and eight Juno Award nominations.
