Three buses exploded in Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv, in what Israeli police suspect to be a terror attack. Authorities found explosive devices in two other buses, but they did not detonate. Large numbers of police officers are now searching for suspects in the area.

The country’s transport minister has halted all buses, trains, and light rail services to allow security teams to check for more possible threats. Reports say this suspension is temporary but necessary to ensure public safety.

The prime minister has ordered the military to launch an "intensive operation" against suspected terrorist hubs in the West Bank. His office also confirmed that security forces will take stronger preventive measures to stop further attacks in Israeli cities.

So far, no injuries have been reported. However, police warn that more explosives could still be in the area. Officers are asking the public to remain on high alert and report any suspicious objects.

Videos on social media showed at least one bus in flames in a parking lot, with thick smoke billowing into the sky. Police are now investigating whether all the devices were set to detonate at the same time.

A police spokesperson stated that officers are carefully sweeping the area to find more explosives. He urged people to stay cautious and report anything unusual. "We may have been lucky if the timers were set incorrectly, but it’s too early to be certain," he said.

Local media reported that one of the undetonated bombs carried a message that read, "Revenge from Tulkarem." This likely refers to a recent Israeli military operation in the West Bank against suspected militants.

In response to the attack, security forces have begun operations in the West Bank. The prime minister has also directed police and intelligence agencies to step up efforts to prevent more attacks.

Meanwhile, the country’s transport minister, who was in Morocco at the time, has cut her trip short and is returning home to oversee security measures.
