A well-known Canadian coffee brand has formed a new partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee to support the country’s Paralympic athletes over the next three years.
Tim Hortons will serve as an Official Supporter for upcoming Paralympic events, including both the Winter and Summer Games. The agreement highlights the company’s ongoing support for Canadian sport and athletes.
As part of the partnership, the company will provide coffee and quick-service food for members of the Canadian Paralympic Team during major international competitions.
Coffee From Home at the 2026 Winter Games
At the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina, athletes, coaches, and staff from Canada will enjoy coffee from the popular chain during the competition.
The service aims to offer a small taste of home while athletes compete on the global stage. For many competitors who spend weeks away from Canada during major sporting events, familiar comforts can make a meaningful difference.
The partnership also allows the brand to show support for athletes who train and compete with dedication throughout the year.
Sharing Athletes’ Stories With Canadians
The agreement includes plans to help Canadians learn more about Paralympic athletes and their journeys.
Through online platforms, social media, and community events, the company will highlight personal stories from athletes and promote awareness of Paralympic sport across the country.
Organizers hope these efforts will inspire Canadians and encourage more people to follow and support Paralympic competitions.
Continuing Support for Canadian Sport
The coffee chain has supported Canadian sports programs for many years. Its community initiatives include youth programs that encourage children to take part in activities such as hockey and soccer.
Programs like Timbits Hockey and Timbits Soccer have helped introduce many young Canadians to organized sports.
The new partnership with the national Paralympic organization adds another step in the company’s long history of supporting athletes and community sport programs.
Events and Activities Across Canada
Beyond the Paralympic Games, the company will also take part in several events organized by the Paralympic community.
This includes providing coffee at gatherings and competitions held across Canada. One of these events includes the ParaTough Cup series organized by the Paralympic Foundation of Canada.
Leaders from both organizations say the partnership will create new ways to connect Canadians with Paralympic sport and celebrate the achievements of athletes.
Leaders Welcome the Partnership
Company executives expressed excitement about supporting Canadian athletes on the international stage.
"We're incredibly proud to serve our coffee to Canadian Paralympic Team throughout the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games and to support these remarkable athletes as they realize their dreams on the world stage. They inspire countless Canadians here at home, and we can't wait to cheer them on every step of the way," said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons.
Officials from the Paralympic Committee also welcomed the agreement.
"We are thrilled to welcome Tim Hortons as an Official Supporter of the Canadian Paralympic Committee," said Francois Robert, Chief Commercial Officer of the CPC. "Their commitment to celebrating Canadian athletes and supporting sport across the country demonstrates the values we share around excellence and community. We look forward to working together to bring Canadians closer to Paralympic sport."
