TNA Slammiversary 2025 was everything fans had hoped for—and more. Celebrating 23 years of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, this year’s pay-per-view delivered unforgettable moments, shocking returns, and title changes that shook the wrestling world.

One of the biggest surprises of the night? The return of AJ Styles to a thunderous ovation. But it was Leon Slater who stole the spotlight in the main event.

Leon Slater Tops Moose to Claim X-Division Championship

In an electric battle for the X-Division Championship, Leon Slater faced off against reigning champ Moose. What unfolded was a spectacular back-and-forth contest filled with high spots, drama, and fierce determination.

Slater brought energy and heart, refusing to go down. Moose, known for his brute strength and technical control, countered with experience and power. But it wasn’t enough.

Slater landed a high-impact finisher that stunned the champ. Moments later, the three-count was made. Leon Slater was crowned the new X-Division Champion.

In a touching moment, Moose personally handed over the title, acknowledging his opponent's grit. Then came a bombshell—AJ Styles made his return to TNA, applauding Slater in front of a roaring crowd and thanking fans for sticking by the promotion.

Champion vs. Champion: Jacy Jayne Edges Out Masha Slamovich

The Knockouts Title clash between TNA’s Masha Slamovich and NXT’s Jacy Jayne was billed as “Champion vs. Champion”—and it delivered.

Both women showcased speed, stamina, and smarts. Masha relied on her aggressive, strike-heavy style. Jayne countered with tactical brilliance and high-flying attacks.

The crowd was on edge as momentum constantly shifted. In the final stretch, Jayne hit a rolling encore that left Slamovich stunned. A clean pinfall followed.

Jacy Jayne emerged victorious, unifying prestige in a match that left fans breathless.

Indi Hartwell Rallies to Defeat Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard came in swinging. Right from the bell, she launched into a ruthless offensive against Indi Hartwell. But Hartwell stayed composed.

Absorbing the early onslaught, she waited for her moment. Slowly but surely, she chipped away at Blanchard’s advantage.

Near-falls kept piling up. But in the final act, Hartwell delivered a brutal slam that earned her the pin and a statement victory.

The System Triumphs in Chaotic Tag Team Brawl

NXT’s DarkState clashed with Matt Cardona and The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, JDC) in a high-energy, no-holds-barred match.

Early chair shots and outside-the-ring madness set the tone. Chaos ruled the bout, but The System stayed one step ahead.

Despite moments of brilliance from DarkState, Eddie Edwards’ "Boston Knee Party" on Saquon Shugars sealed the win. The System stood tall amidst the wreckage.

Mustafa Ali Outlasts Cedric Alexander in Show-Stealer Opener

The night kicked off with Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali—a match that reminded fans why these two are fan favourites.

They battled both inside and outside the ring, trading control in a quick-paced, technical showcase. Ali eventually stunned the crowd with a top-rope 450 splash.

That move sealed the win in what was one of the most technically sound matches of the night.

Tag Team Ladder Match Delivers Carnage and Gold

The Nemeths defended their World Tag Team Championships against The Hardys, The Rascalz, and First Class in a chaotic ladder match.

Matt and Jeff Hardy used their experience to dominate early.

Swanton bombs and flying ladders added to the frenzy. Each team had their moment of hope.

As the final moments ticked down, Matt held the rope ladder steady. Jeff ascended and unhooked the titles, securing the win for the legendary Hardys.

Trick Williams Retains Championship in Triple Threat

Trick Williams faced stiff competition from Joe Hendry and Mike Santana. But his in-ring IQ and power gave him the edge.

In a tense triple threat, Williams defended his championship successfully, keeping his gold despite nonstop pressure from two top-tier challengers.

Pre-Show Highlights: Titles Defended, Heroes Celebrated

Before the main event card, fans were treated to exciting pre-show bouts. The Elegance Brand (Ash and Heather) retained their TNA Knockouts Tag Titles against The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay).

"The Hometown Man" picked up a heartfelt win against Eric Young. Meanwhile, the Ropebreakers from 4th Rope Wrestling defeated Jake Something, Steve Maclin, and Mance Warner.

Slammiversary 2025 Proves Why TNA Still Matters

TNA Slammiversary 2025 wasn’t just about wrestling—it was about legacy. With AJ Styles returning, new champions emerging, and unforgettable battles, TNA reminded fans why it still has a seat at wrestling’s main table.

The night celebrated past legends and future stars, cementing TNA's place in wrestling history for another year.
