A tragic incident occurred on the set of Marvel's television series "Wonder Man," resulting in the loss of a crew member's life. According to a report by Variety, the individual, identified as a rigger, fell from the rafters at Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday and succumbed to the injuries.

Expressing condolences, a spokesperson for Marvel conveyed sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased, pledging cooperation with the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The mishap took place while cameras were not rolling, prompting an immediate halt in production for the day. It's worth noting that "Wonder Man" had already wrapped up some filming before production was suspended by SAG-AFTRA in July.

Efforts to obtain a comment from Marvel representatives by The Post remain ongoing.

The series features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the lead role of Simon Williams, a former stuntman turned superhero. Additionally, Ben Kingsley is set to reprise his role as Trevor Slattery from "Iron Man 3."

Adapted from the Marvel comics, the show follows the journey of Hollywood actor Simon Williams as he gains superpowers, transforming into the titular superhero Wonder Man.

While a specific release date for "Wonder Man" is yet to be announced, it is expected to consist of 10 episodes and stream on Disney+.

In a separate development, Jeremy Renner, known for his role in Marvel films, recently provided an update on his health following a near-fatal snowplow incident on January 1, 2023. Speaking to "Entertainment Tonight," Renner shared that he is progressing well in his recovery, aiming to resume normal activities within the next six months. Emphasizing the importance of focusing on the present moment and overcoming obstacles, Renner expressed optimism for his ongoing journey towards better health and wellness.
