Netanyahu is relaxing in Gaza with Trump, Musk is showered by cash in Trump’s AI Video. Youtube/Hindustan Times

US President Donald Trump shared a video on Truth Social, appearing to be made using artificial intelligence, promoting his vision for Gaza. The video, posted late Tuesday, imagines Gaza as a luxury destination, with skyscrapers, a golden statue of Trump, and Elon Musk eating hummus. It also shows American and Israeli leaders relaxing on a beach.

A song in the background says, “No more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here!” This comes as Trump has proposed removing 2.1 million Palestinians from Gaza and turning the area into a tourist hotspot under US ownership.

The Palestinian Authority strongly opposed the plan, calling it a violation of international law. Palestinian officials recalled past displacement and vowed to resist any forced removal.

The video begins with barefoot Palestinian children walking through Gaza’s ruins. A caption asks, “What’s next?” before showing a futuristic skyline. The lyrics continue, “Donald’s coming to set you free. Trump Gaza shining bright. Golden future, a brand-new light.” The video also features belly dancers, a child with a Trump-shaped balloon, and Musk dancing under falling US dollar bills. It ends with Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sipping drinks on the beach.

Palestinian leaders condemned the video. A Gaza official called it “disgraceful,” accusing Trump of supporting “ethnic cleansing” and distorting reality. It is unclear if Trump will act on his proposal. After criticism from Egypt and Jordan, he told Fox News, “I think that’s the plan that really works. But I’m not forcing it.”

Many Palestinian officials dismissed the video as a “joke” and insisted Gaza belongs to its people. A PLO leader said, “Trump’s ideas should be done elsewhere, not on our land.”

A recent poll showed Trump’s Gaza plan is unpopular. Only 13% of Americans supported it, while 58% opposed it.

Meanwhile, Arab leaders met in Riyadh to discuss a response. Another meeting is set for March 4 in Cairo, where they may present an alternative to Trump’s plan. A UAE official stressed the need for rebuilding Gaza but said it must lead to Palestinian statehood. However, Netanyahu has rejected this idea, supporting Trump’s vision instead.

Egypt, which Trump suggested should take in displaced Palestinians, is leading efforts to create an alternative plan. The Egyptian prime minister estimated reconstruction would take three years and cost $20 billion. Egypt’s investment minister firmly rejected any pressure to accept Trump’s plan, stating, “Palestinians have the right to live on their own land.”
