A legal representative for Tupac Shakur's estate issued a cease-and-desist letter to Drake over his utilization of an AI-generated rendition of the late rapper's voice in a diss track titled "Taylor Made Freestyle."

The attorney, Howard King, labeled the track a violation of Tupac's rights and threatened legal action if Drake does not remove it from distribution platforms.

Drake's track, which also features an AI-generated voice resembling Snoop Dogg, aimed to provoke Kendrick Lamar amid an ongoing feud. King highlighted Drake's previous legal actions regarding similar issues and urged him to comply with the removal request. Additionally, King demanded clarification on the creation of the AI voice and warned of potential legal consequences if Drake fails to comply.

Universal Music Group's past actions against unauthorized AI-generated vocals were referenced as a precedent. Drake's response to the matter remains unknown as of now.
