Virginia Giuffre, one of the most well-known accusers of Jeffrey Epstein, is in the hospital after a severe car accident. She revealed on Instagram that she suffered kidney failure following the crash. Her doctors gave her only "four days to live" and transferred her to a specialist hospital for urgent treatment.
Giuffre shared her condition with a photo from her hospital bed. She had visible bruises and described the accident as the worst event of her life. In her post, she wrote that the crash was so intense that her car was "like a tin can."
Expressing her heartbreak, she added, "I'm ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time," referring to her three children.
Her spokesperson, Dini von Mueffling, confirmed the incident in a statement. She said, "Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending."
Giuffre had been living with her three children and her husband, Robert, in North Perth, Australia. However, recent reports indicate that the couple separated after 22 years of marriage.
It is still unclear where and when the accident took place. The police and ambulance services in Western Australia said they had no recent records of such a serious crash. However, they later confirmed a "minor crash" between a bus and a car on March 24. No injuries were reported from that incident. It is not known if this was the same accident involving Giuffre.
Giuffre is widely known for her accusations against Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She claimed they trafficked her to Prince Andrew when she was 17. The Duke of York has repeatedly denied the allegations. However, in 2022, he reached an out-of-court settlement with her.
The settlement included a statement where Prince Andrew expressed regret for his association with Epstein. However, it did not include an admission of guilt or an apology.
Giuffre’s current condition has raised concerns among her supporters, who have sent her messages of love and encouragement.
