Wendy's is about to make a splash by bringing the famous Krabby Patty to life, starting this week. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the beloved animated show "SpongeBob SquarePants," Wendy's has teamed up with Paramount to introduce the "Krabby Patty Kollab." This collaboration will feature two exciting new menu items available for a limited time at Wendy's locations across the country.
The first item is the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which is a unique twist on the classic vanilla Frosty. This special flavour comes with a swirl of pineapple mango puree, making it a refreshing treat for fans of all ages. The second item, the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger, is Wendy's take on the iconic cartoon burger. This mouthwatering burger includes a quarter pound of beef, and two slices of melted American cheese, and is topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and a special "top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce," all served on a toasted bun.
Both items are set to be available at Wendy's restaurants nationwide starting Tuesday, October 8. However, if you're in the Los Angeles area, you're in luck! Some customers will have the chance to enjoy an exclusive preview of the Krabby Patty at an "immersive Wendy's drive-thru experience" located in Panorama City, which opens a day earlier on October 7.
In their official announcement, Wendy's emphasized that "The Krabby Patty Kollab" program will be the first time that food inspired by the Krabby Patty from "SpongeBob SquarePants" will be available in the real world. The animated series debuted on Nickelodeon in 1999 and has since become a beloved part of pop culture.

Lindsay Radkoski, Wendy’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, expressed excitement over the collaboration, stating, "It makes sense that two of the most iconic squares in pop culture are teaming up to bring a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life for fans of all ages!" Meanwhile, Dario Spina, CMO of Paramount Brand Studio, noted that this initiative is a fun way to celebrate the milestone anniversary of the show, saying, "'The Krabby Patty Kollab' marks another innovative way to continue the landmark 25th-anniversary celebration of 'SpongeBob SquarePants,' bringing Bikini Bottom to the surface like never before."
Fans are particularly curious about the "top-secret" sauce used in the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger. When asked about the sauce's ingredients, Wendy's kept the recipe under wraps, much like Mr. Krabs does in the show. A spokesperson from Wendy's said, "Our top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce is a closely guarded recipe that makes the first bite of the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger worth the wait for 'SpongeBob SquarePants' fans and Wendy's customers alike."
