Disneyland’s iconic Haunted Mansion is set to reopen on July 29, much to the delight of fans. The beloved attraction, which had been closed for renovations since January, will welcome guests back with a festive "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme.
The renovations included a fresh retail shop and an expanded outdoor queue to improve guest experience. To manage the anticipated high demand, Disneyland will use a virtual queue system. Guests can use the Disneyland app to secure their spot in line and avoid long waits.
The Haunted Mansion will launch its seasonal "Haunted Mansion Holiday" theme a week earlier than usual. This year's festive update will feature characters from Tim Burton’s "Nightmare Before Christmas," such as Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero. The attraction will showcase new decorations inspired by the film, including a redesigned gingerbread house in the ballroom scene.
The timing of the Haunted Mansion reopening aligns with other major updates in Disneyland. New Orleans Square is also undergoing a transformation with the re-theming of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is set to open later this year.
In addition to the Haunted Mansion reopening, Disneyland is celebrating its 69th anniversary by offering a special promotion for Anaheim residents. They can now purchase a one-day, single-park ticket for just $69, making it easier for locals to enjoy the park’s attractions.
