Air Canada recently announced the launch of new non-stop routes linking Toronto and Montreal with Mexico’s Tulum. Now Air Canada Vacations is weighing in, with a list of 36 vacation packages ranging from stays at luxurious beachfront resorts to culturally immersive experiences.

The operator is also offering familiarization trips for travel advisors, one each from Toronto and Montreal.

Direct flights from Toronto to Tulum will depart Fridays and Sundays starting May 3, and from Montreal to Tulum every Saturday starting May 4. AC is the exclusive Canadian carrier to Tulum.

Until April 7, customers can take advantage of savings up to $300 per couple on vacation packages arriving at Tulum International Airport for departures from May 3 to October 31. In addition, customers can maximize their benefits by earning up to 12,000 extra Aeroplan points per member when booking 7 nights at select resorts through their favourite travel professional. "Air Canada Vacations is delighted to enhance accessibility to Tulum with exciting vacation packages for travellers," said Ana Paula De Souza, ACV’s Director, Sales.

“Awareness and experience make all the difference and are key reasons why Air Canada Vacations brings travel agents to diverse destinations to discover. There is nothing better than to experience a product first-hand, to really understand it and present it effectively to customers. Our Familiarization Trip is an incredible way to achieve this, plus we guarantee you’ll have lots of fun."

The Tulum Deep Dive Immersive Training Experience

To celebrate the inaugural flight to Tulum, ACV is inviting travel professionals to join its Familiarization Trip, offering an interactive training session, site inspections, and free time with options to explore the destination.

Upon completion of the FAM, participants will receive a Specialist Certificate. There are two options: a five-night stay in Tulum from Toronto for $599 per person, or a four-night stay from Montreal for $499. Prices are based on double occupancy and inclusive of taxes and fees. Connector flights will be available at an additional cost.
