
Adam Sandler returns to play Happy Gilmore once again in the sequel. Netflix
After almost 30 years, Adam Sandler is back in his famous role as Happy Gilmore. In the sequel, Happy returns to the golf course for a special reason—he wants to pay for his daughter’s ballet school.
This time, the story is more personal. His daughter, Vienna, played by Sandler’s real-life daughter Sunny, dreams of becoming a ballerina. To support her, Happy needs to win again.
Familiar Faces Return
Many characters from the original movie also return. Julie Bowen is back as Virginia, Happy’s wife. Christopher McDonald returns as Shooter McGavin, Happy’s long-time rival. Dennis Dugan plays Doug Thompson, the golf commissioner again.
Ben Stiller returns too as Hal L., who now runs a support group. Kevin Nealon also comes back as golfer Gary Potter.

This time, there are plenty of new faces.
- Bad Bunny plays Oscar, Happy’s clueless new caddy.
- Benny Safdie appears as Frank Manatee, the owner of a sports drink company.
- Lavell Crawford joins the story as Slim, son of Happy’s mentor Chubbs.

- Blake Clark brings his Waterboy character Farmer Fran into this movie.
The Gilmore family also grows. Happy and Virginia now have four sons—Wayne, Gordie, Bobby, and Terry—played by Ethan Cutkosky, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Philip Fine Schneider, and Conor Sherry.
