David Beckham’s 50th birthday party had a beautiful atmosphere with family and friends, but one notable absence raised eyebrows. Brooklyn Beckham, David's oldest son, was not seen in any of the photos shared by his parents. The stunning family pictures showcased a tight-knit family celebration, with the Beckhams looking happy and relaxed.
The Family Celebration
David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, shared a series of photos from the special day on Instagram. The post was filled with warmth and love, with the couple expressing their joy for the memories created with family and friends. They captioned the pictures, “Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all ❤️,” tagging their sons Romeo and Cruz, and using a hashtag for their daughter Harper.
The family looked stylish in matching outfits. Victoria, 51, and 13-year-old Harper wore matching silk navy dresses. Meanwhile, David, 50, and his sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, all looked sharp in black tuxedos and bow ties. In another touching moment, David shared a sweet kiss on Harper’s forehead after posing with his sons in front of a classic car.
Also featured in the photos were David’s parents, David Sr. and Sandra, and his sisters, Joanne and Lynne. Victoria’s parents, Jackie and Anthony Adams, were also present to celebrate David’s milestone. The family also enjoyed a casual lunch together, where they posed for more relaxed photos with their youngest children.
Brooklyn’s Absence Raises Questions
Despite the loving family moments, there was one notable absence: Brooklyn Beckham, 26. The oldest son of David and Victoria was not seen in any of the shared photos, leading many to wonder if he skipped the celebration. It is unclear whether Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, attended the event.
The absence of Brooklyn is not entirely new. Back in March, he and Nicola also appeared to skip David’s earlier birthday celebration, which sparked rumors of a family rift. While neither Brooklyn nor the Beckham family addressed the situation publicly, reports suggested that Brooklyn might have been upset with his younger brother, Romeo, for dating his ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Interestingly, both Kim Turnbull and Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, were present at the birthday party.
Brooklyn and Nicola live in Los Angeles, while David, Victoria, and their younger children split their time between Miami and London. This physical distance has fueled speculation about possible tensions within the family.
Brooklyn’s Close Bond with His Family
Before any rumors of conflict, Brooklyn had spoken fondly about his close relationship with his siblings. In a 2022 interview, he shared how growing up with siblings close to his age made them very close. He described Harper as the loudest, Cruz as the funniest, and Romeo as the most energetic. He also expressed his love for spending time with his parents, especially bonding over cooking and watching football with his dad.
Brooklyn has also shared his connection to his parents, especially when it comes to marriage advice. In a 2023 interview, he recalled his dad’s advice: “Just always treat her like a princess… just talk and have fun.” He added that finding someone you love and keeping them close is one of the most important things in life.
