Dina Asher-Smith, one of the standout athletes from Team GB, is gearing up for her third Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Known for her impressive track record, including multiple medals, Dina is preparing to add more to her collection. However, when she's not training or competing, she cherishes her serene home, which she calls her "calm space.
In an interview with ELLE Decoration, Dina shared how important it is for her to have a home that offers a peaceful retreat from the intense pressures of her athletic career. She described her house as a sanctuary where she can escape the constant spotlight and relax.
Dina explained that she wanted her home to feel like a spa—natural, calming, and filled with touches of colour and personality. "I wanted it to feel zen like I was in a spa," she said. "I like a calm palette but wanted some pops of colour and texture."

Kitchen: Dina’s kitchen is a testament to her minimalist style. It features a neutral colour scheme with minimal clutter, creating a fresh and peaceful atmosphere. The central island is a striking green, complemented by brown breakfast bar stools. Wooden cupboards and a rattan splashback add to the kitchen’s clean look. "This house is a labour of love," Dina noted, reflecting on her four-year renovation journey.

Home Office: The most colourful room in Dina’s home is her office, painted a deep purple. This space, perfect for working or unwinding, features ample storage with shelves above the desk. While the room displays some trophies and a medal, Dina prefers to keep her medals out of sight, away from daily view. "I’m very proud of them, but they’re not something I have on show," she said. Dina keeps her medals safe, often hidden from view, though her parents enjoy showcasing them.
