Leaked renders suggest iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may debut in 2024 with new color options, including Desert Titanium and Titanium Grey. (Twitter/Majinbuofficial)

According to a recent leak shared by a tipster on X (formerly known as Twitter), the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max might be introduced in the latter half of 2024, sporting two new color options. The leaked renders of these prospective smartphones display them in new grey and gold hues, a departure from Apple's current generation iPhone 15 Pro models which do not come in gold. Currently, Apple offers its flagship iPhone models, the first to feature a titanium chassis, in four color options.

Majin Bu (@majinbuofficial), a user on X, has shared two renders that purportedly depict the iPhone 16 Pro in these new colors. It is speculated that the Cupertino company might launch its upcoming premium iPhone models in Desert Titanium and Titanium Grey colorways. While other color options are being considered, their likelihood of being included is uncertain, as per the tipster.

The new Desert Titanium (Desert Yellow) color is rumored to resemble the gold option available on the iPhone 14 Pro models, a feature absent from last year's iPhone 15 Pro models. On the other hand, the Titanium Grey (Cement Grey) color is said to be reminiscent of the Space Grey hue seen on the iPhone 6 released in 2014.

In 2023, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were introduced in Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural, and White Titanium colorways. If the tipster's information is accurate, the iPhone 16 Pro could reintroduce the gold color to Apple's premium iPhone lineup.

The leaked color options suggest that Apple is considering offering a variety of colors for the iPhone 16 Pro models. This would necessitate the replacement of at least two of the iPhone 15 Pro color options, as the iPhone Pro models are typically launched in four colors unlike the standard models.

It is possible that the Titanium White and Black Titanium colors might be retained, while the other colors could be replaced by the newly leaked finishes. It is important to note that the iPhone 16 series is anticipated to be released in the third quarter of 2024, and more information about the color options and specifications of the iPhone 16 Pro models is expected to emerge in the coming months.
