After 24 years of captivating audiences with its wit and humor, the acclaimed comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm," helmed by Larry David, is reaching its conclusion. Warner Brothers-Discovery revealed Thursday that the upcoming 12th season will mark the final installment of the show.

In a statement addressing the series' end, Larry David, who portrays a caricatured version of himself, expressed relief at bidding farewell to the constraining "Larry David" persona. He humorously hinted at returning to his genuine self, emphasizing the divergence between his on-screen portrayal and his actual persona as a thoughtful, caring individual.

The ensemble cast featuring comedians such as Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, and Ted Danson is set to reprise their roles for this concluding season.

Debuting in 2000, "Curb" has accumulated accolades over the years, amassing 51 Emmy nominations and securing two wins, alongside receiving five Golden Globe nominations and a win.

The final season, comprising 10 episodes, is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 4 via HBO and streaming on Max. Subsequent episodes will air each Sunday at 10 p.m. until the grand finale on April 7, marking the conclusion of this long-running and beloved series.

Larry David, renowned for co-creating the iconic sitcom "Seinfeld" alongside Jerry Seinfeld, served as the head writer and executive producer during the show's initial seven seasons.

Previously, "Curb" took a hiatus of six years between its eighth and ninth seasons before returning to entertain its dedicated fanbase. However, Larry David has unequivocally declared this conclusion as final, bidding adieu to the character synonymous with his misanthropic on-screen persona. In a characteristic humorous sign-off, David quipped that those wishing to contact him should reach out to "Doctors Without Borders," playfully highlighting the contrast between his television persona and his true nature.
