Quebec's liquor authority, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ), experienced a temporary glitch that caused all products on its website to be listed at 30% off. The issue occurred between midnight and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Laurianne Tardif, an SAQ spokesperson, confirmed the pricing error and said it was fixed shortly after being reported. According to Tardif, the problem was caused by a programming mistake, not a virus or hack.

While the SAQ has yet to reveal how many purchases were made during the glitch or how many customers benefited from the discounts, an investigation is ongoing to find the exact cause of the error.
