Walt Disney World Resort is embracing the fall season with a range of magical events and festive activities. The highlight is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which runs on select nights from August 1 to October 31. This special event offers a variety of spooky and fun experiences after regular park hours, from 7 pm to midnight.
At the party, guests can meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in their new neon spiderweb costumes. Throughout the Magic Kingdom, you’ll find beloved Disney villains and eerie characters making appearances. The DescenDANCE Party, inspired by the Disney film “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” takes place at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. In the Fairytale Garden, Bruno and Mirabel from “Encanto” will be greeting guests.

For those with a sweet tooth, over 50 fall and Halloween-themed treats are available throughout the park. Trick-or-treaters can enjoy tasty Mars treats while wearing their fun, non-scary Halloween costumes. The popular “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade” starts an hour earlier at 8:15 p.m. this year, along with “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington, and the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show. Guests can also enjoy TRON Lightcycle / Run via standby queues.

Magic Kingdom is decked out with autumn decorations from August 5 to November 1. Main Street, U.S.A. transforms into a fall wonderland with vibrant colors, towering pumpkins, and friendly scarecrows.

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is back from August 29 to November 23. This year’s festival features over 30 Global Marketplaces offering a variety of international dishes and drinks. Highlights include Emile’s Fromage Montage, a cheese lover’s dream, and Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, a scavenger hunt for kids and adults. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will feature new acts like Yellowcard and The Wanted, alongside returning favourites such as Hanson, Tiffany, and Boyz II Men.

Disney Springs will also get into the fall spirit starting September 9. Visitors can enjoy seasonal treats at Goofy’s Candy Co., The Ganachery, and Amorette’s Patisserie, shop for Halloween-themed merchandise at the World of Disney store, and enjoy spooky performances. The acapella group Squad Ghouls will perform every Saturday in October, while Zombie Drummers and Skeleton Stiltwalkers will entertain guests on weekends.

The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend celebrates its 15th anniversary from October 31 to November 3, 2024. Runners can participate in the 5K, 10K, half marathon, or the Disney Two Course Challenge (10K and half marathon), and join the Post-Race Party at Walt Disney World Resort.
