Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are set to star in their own reality series, titled "The Baldwins," which will air on TLC in 2025. The show will offer viewers a glimpse into their life with seven children under the age of 10.
In a video shared on Instagram, Baldwin expressed excitement about sharing their family's experiences, including the highs and lows, with the audience. The announcement video featured playful banter between Alec and Hilaria, with jokes about the possibility of another pregnancy, before showcasing a chaotic moment with their children.
Alec Baldwin, known for his roles in film and television, married Hilaria in July 2012. They welcomed their first child together in August 2013. Prior to his marriage to Hilaria, Alec was married to actor Kim Basinger, with whom he shares his eldest daughter, Ireland.
However, amidst this announcement, Alec Baldwin is facing legal proceedings for involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from a fatal shooting incident on the set of the film "Rust" in 2021. The trial is scheduled for July in Santa Fe, and Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to the charge, which carries a maximum sentence of 18 months in prison.
During the filming of "Rust," a revolver Baldwin was holding discharged, resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuries to director Joel Souza. Baldwin maintains that he did not intentionally fire the weapon.
In April, the film's weapons supervisor, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in a New Mexico state penitentiary for failing to adhere to gun safety protocols. Baldwin's legal team attempted to have his charge dismissed, but Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer upheld the charge in May.
