Burger King is adding a cool twist to its menu with the launch of a new Frozen Pink Lemonade, a refreshing beverage that's both sweet and slightly tart. Announced on Thursday, this new drink is set to hit menus nationwide just in time for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
"This marks the fifth year in a row that we’ve partnered with Paramount and MTV, and the first time we’re introducing a product inspired by the VMAs — our new Frozen Pink Lemonade," said Pat O’Toole, chief marketing officer of Burger King North America. "We’re excited to be the frozen drink of the VMAs — a drink that’s just as cool and vibrant as the show itself, and I can’t think of a better venue to showcase our new drink for music and BK fans alike."

The Frozen Pink Lemonade is not just any ordinary drink. It's Burger King’s way of blending the vibrant, energetic spirit of the VMAs with its own cool and refreshing style. The drink is described as "refreshing and sweet, yet tart," offering a perfect blend of flavors that are sure to appeal to a wide range of tastes.

To celebrate the launch, Burger King has planned two special events. The first is the "VMAs" Block Party, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 8, at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. From 12–5 p.m. ET, fans can drop by to taste the new Frozen Pink Lemonade. The event promises more than just a cool drink; attendees can also grab an iridescent Burger King crown and participate in a Burger King and MTV co-branded giveaway, while supplies last. This block party is a great opportunity for fans to get a first taste of the drink and enjoy a day filled with music and fun.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. The second event is the VMAs themselves, where the Frozen Pink Lemonade will be available at New York’s UBS Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Whether you’re attending as a fan or as one of the music industry’s biggest stars, this drink will be available for sampling at a special Frozen Pink Lemonade Pop-Up before the show begins. Imagine sipping this vibrant, refreshing drink as you prepare to enjoy one of the year’s biggest music events — it’s an experience designed to be as memorable as the VMAs themselves.

And if you can’t make it to New York or the VMAs, don’t worry. Burger King’s Royal Perks members can still enjoy this limited-time treat. From now through September 11, members can get a free small Frozen Pink Lemonade with any purchase of $1 or more through the BK app. This exclusive deal ensures that everyone, from die-hard music fans to everyday customers, has a chance to enjoy this special new drink.

Burger King’s Frozen Pink Lemonade is more than just a new menu item; it’s a celebration of the brand’s ongoing partnership with the VMAs and a treat that perfectly captures the cool, refreshing spirit of both the drink and the iconic music event. Whether you’re enjoying it at a Brooklyn block party, at the VMAs, or in your hometown, this Frozen Pink Lemonade is sure to be a hit.
