Starbucks has kicked off its pumpkin spice latte season, but many Dunkin' fans are eagerly waiting for their favourite coffee chain to unveil its fall offerings. Dunkin' has been teasing its fall menu on social media this week, sparking curiosity about the return of its seasonal favourites.
Earlier this week, Dunkin' hinted at the comeback of its fall menu with a playful Instagram post. The company’s official account shared an image with the message, “See how we’re bringing back pumpkin? Very mindful, very patient, very demure.” The caption included a cryptic hint: “Apparently I’m not allowed to say when pumpkin comes out but it rhymes with shmaugust shwenty shmeighth.” This playful clue pointed to August 28 as the day the fall menu will officially return.
In a confirmation email sent Friday morning, Dunkin' officially announced that its fall menu will launch on August 28. However, the company chose not to reveal the specifics of what will be on the menu this year.
Dunkin' added to the excitement with a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, “Warn your boyfriends now - pumpkin is back next week.” This further fueled anticipation for the seasonal treats.
Last year, Dunkin' launched its fall menu earlier than usual, on August 16, 2023. The menu featured a variety of pumpkin-flavoured items, including the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Nutty Pumpkin Coffee, and a selection of pumpkin-themed bakery goods like the Pumpkin Cake Donut and Pumpkin Muffin.
In 2022, Dunkin’ set an even earlier release date of August 10. That year's fall lineup included the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and a Blood Orange Dunkin' Refresher, alongside the new Nutty Pumpkin Coffee.
As Dunkin' prepares to unveil its new fall menu, fans are eager to see what pumpkin-flavoured delights will be offered this year. The anticipation is building, with the promise of familiar favourites and possibly new additions that will make the upcoming season even more exciting.
