"Wicked," the highly anticipated film adaptation of the popular Broadway musical, is set to premiere in theatres on November 22. To celebrate this exciting release, Starbucks has teamed up with Universal Pictures to introduce two special beverages and an array of themed merchandise inspired by the enchanting world of Oz. Starting Tuesday, October 22, Starbucks locations across the country will offer these limited-time drinks.
The first drink, Glinda's Pink Potion, draws inspiration from Glinda the Good Witch. This refreshing beverage combines the delightful flavours of a Mano Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher, hand-shaken with creamy coconut milk and ice. The drink features real freeze-dried dragonfruit, giving it a unique texture and vibrant appearance. To top it off, it’s adorned with a layer of nondairy strawberry cold foam and a sprinkle of colourful candy, aptly described as an "Oz-dusting of magic." This enchanting drink is sure to delight fans of Glinda and anyone looking for a sweet, fruity treat.

The second offering, Elphaba's Cold Brew, is inspired by the iconic Wicked Witch of the West. This beverage features Starbucks’ smooth cold brew, made from a custom blend of beans designed to steep long and cold for a rich flavour. It’s sweetened with a hint of peppermint syrup, providing a refreshing twist. The drink is finished with nondairy matcha cold foam and a sprinkle of green candy, making it both visually striking and delicious.

In addition to the new beverages, Starbucks is rolling out exclusive "Wicked"-themed merchandise. Starting October 22, fans can find special Starbucks Cards at select locations in the U.S., Canada, and certain international markets. These cards will feature unique designs that capture the spirit of the film.

But that’s not all! Beginning November 7, Starbucks will launch an exciting collection of drinkware that includes cold cups, tumblers, keychains, and more. The collection showcases vibrant colours such as bold green, shimmering gold, and bright pink, reflecting the whimsical aesthetics of "Wicked." Among the offerings, there will be a special gold-hued gift card presented in a Grimmerie-inspired casing that also doubles as a keychain. This exclusive item requires a minimum load of $50.

Starbucks is encouraging fans to visit their stores early, as these limited-time items will be available while supplies last. Whether you’re enjoying a drink inspired by your favourite character or collecting unique merchandise, the collaboration between Starbucks and "Wicked" promises to add an extra touch of magic to the movie’s release.
