January 02, 2024

The anticipated unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series on January 17 has been generating buzz, offering insights into the upcoming flagship phones. Recent leaks hint at notable enhancements in video recording capabilities for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, coupled with enticing pre-order incentives. Speculations also suggest a potential reduction in pricing for the standard models, contrasting with a probable price increase for the S24 Ultra across its storage variants. Intriguingly, Walmart inadvertently revealed the Galaxy S24+ on its online platform, while retailers in Brazil have initiated teasers for the impending phone launch.

Ice Universe, a known source on X, shared information suggesting that the Galaxy S24 lineup might be priced slightly lower than initially anticipated. Reports indicate a robust stock for the Galaxy S24 and S24+, reflecting Samsung's optimism regarding the upcoming models. Additionally, expectations point towards HDR photo viewing capabilities within the S24 series.

The focus shifts to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with insights suggesting an impressive capability to capture footage at 4K resolution and 120 frames per second (fps). This marks a significant improvement over the previous Galaxy S23 Ultra, which supports 8K and 4K video recording but is limited to 30fps for 8K and 60fps for 4K videos.

Furthermore, a South Korean blog, Naver, highlighted Samsung's intention to offer pre-order incentives for early purchasers of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Such bonuses might include higher storage variants without additional charges, akin to past promotions, along with discount coupons for Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds FE.

Walmart's accidental listing of the Samsung Galaxy S24+ on its platform before the rumored January 17 launch disclosed details of the device, showcasing an onyx black model with 12GB of RAM. The leaked screenshot reveals the handset's AI-powered features, including Live Translate, Generative Edit, and Nightography Zoom. Notably, the S24+ is anticipated to sport a 6.7-inch display, an upgrade from its predecessor's 6.6-inch screen, and house a 4,900mAh battery.

Moreover, tipster CID on X reported Samsung retailers in Brazil displaying promotional posters of the Galaxy S24 Ultra before its official announcement. The leaked poster showcases a quad rear camera setup and an S Pen matched to the device's color scheme.

With the speculated launch date for the Galaxy S24 lineup nearing, anticipation grows for further revelations about these flagship devices. In the interim, enthusiasts can stay tuned for more updates on our coverage.
