Cava is adding some serious heat to its snack lineup. Starting April 22, the Mediterranean restaurant chain is releasing Hot Harissa Pita Chips. These new chips offer a spicy twist on a fan-favorite item and will only be available for a limited time. Customers can grab them in stores, online, or through the brand’s app.

The chips use Cava’s signature harissa spice, known for its rich flavor and smoky kick. They’re perfect for dipping or pairing with bowls like the Harissa Avocado or the Steak + Harissa. It’s a bold new version of the classic snack, made for those who love strong flavors.

To celebrate the launch, Cava released a fun music video. It features dancing and high energy, all set to Kylie Minogue’s 2001 hit, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Directed by Los Angeles filmmaker Erin Murray, the video shows people joyfully dancing — a nod to how fans say they feel when they eat at Cava.

“Our new Hot Harissa Pita Chips are a bold-flavored twist on our beloved snack,” said Ted Xenohristos, co-founder of Cava. “We can’t wait to bring even more joy — and flavor — to our guests.”

Spicy snacks are trending everywhere this year. From hot honey to chili crisp, bold flavors are making waves in 2025. But Cava’s chips are more than just hot — they’re built on tradition and made to stand out. Harissa is a classic Mediterranean spice blend, and here it’s being used in a fresh, fun way.

This launch also shows how Cava is growing as a brand. Since going public in 2023, the company has grown fast. By the end of 2024, it had 323 restaurants across the country and a nearly 30% rise in revenue from the year before.

While many other food chains are cutting corners or focusing on low-cost items, Cava is doing something different. It’s investing in bold new flavors and fun experiences. The brand wants people to feel something when they eat their food — not just taste it. That’s why their new campaign focuses on emotions and identity, not just ingredients.

The Hot Harissa Pita Chips will stay on the menu through summer. They’re crunchy, spicy, and full of character — just like the people who love them. And if you're into food with a side of fun, you can check out the launch video on social media. Maybe grab a bag of chips and dance along.
