Try A&W’s new Plant-Based Burger next time you’re craving a meat-free meal. C&W Group
A&W Canada has just added a brand-new plant-based burger to its nationwide menu. This move aims to offer more choices to customers who enjoy vegetarian options.
Created by A&W’s own food innovation team, the A&W Plant-Based Burger joins the chain’s growing list of meat-free meals. The company says it designed the burger to meet the needs of guests looking for tasty and satisfying vegetarian options without missing out on flavour.
What’s Inside the New Burger
The new burger comes with all the classic toppings Canadians love. It includes fresh lettuce, red onion, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Everything is served on a warm, toasted sesame seed bun.
While A&W hasn’t revealed the exact ingredients of the patty, it says the burger is fully plant-based and packed with flavour.
More Choices for Vegetarian Diners
This new burger joins A&W’s current vegetarian line-up, which already includes popular items like the Masala Veggie Burger, Crispy Veggie Burger, and the Spicy Piri-Piri Potato Buddy Burger™.
By making the new burger a permanent part of the menu, A&W continues its focus on offering choices that suit different diets.
A&W Wants Everyone to Enjoy Their Menu
Karan Suri, A&W Canada’s Senior Director of Innovation, said the company is proud to take control of its own plant-based recipe.
“All guests deserve a fantastic variety of delicious, innovative menu items. By taking the lead on our own plant-based recipe, we can ensure we are always delivering delicious, crave-worthy burgers that our guests expect from A&W,” said Suri.
A&W’s leadership says the new burger reflects the brand’s focus on great taste, quality, and variety.
A Message from A&W’s CEO
Susan Senecal, CEO of A&W Food Services of Canada Inc., shared her excitement about the burger.
“At A&W, we are proud of bringing great-tasting, innovative recipes to our menu. We look forward to welcoming Canadians to try out our new A&W Plant-Based Burger, alongside our other vegetarian favourites. I’m already a fan!” said Senecal.
Where to Try It
Canadians looking to try the A&W Plant-Based Burger can find it now at A&W locations across the country. It’s available as part of the restaurant’s regular menu, not just for a limited time.
Whether you’re vegetarian or just curious, the burger is ready to be your next go-to meal.
