Many diners love sharing their clever food tweaks. Some add extra sauce, others change toppings, and some turn simple orders into full meals. Taco Bell now takes that trend to a new level. The chain introduces a menu made by real customers, turning popular “secret” ideas into official dishes for a short time.
The Fan Style menu arrives on November 20. It includes three custom items created by Taco Bell fans based on their own go-to orders. The company says the new feature highlights how much customers shape its menu.
A Menu Built by Regular Diners
“We’re always listening to our fans — they push us to think differently, take bold risks, and keep evolving,” said Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s global chief brand officer. “Fan Style shows what’s possible when we loosen our grip and tap into the creativity of our fan base. It might feel like a risk, but it’s proof that our fans can help us take the brand to bold new places.”
The three choices include Brock’s California Crunchwrap, Kajol’s Burrito Bliss, and Sandra’s Cantina Craze. Each one takes a familiar Taco Bell item and adds simple changes that fans say make a big difference. Since Taco Bell already allows plenty of customization, the new menu fits well with the chain’s build-your-own style.
The Fan Style feature first appeared in the Taco Bell app last July. Diners could design their own custom orders, share them with others, and earn reward points when people tried their creations.
Picking the Final Three
Taco Bell received more than 40,000 entries. Judges looked for creativity, strong flavours, and broad appeal. Two winners came from the Midwest and one from Kentucky.
The New Creations
Brock from Holton, Michigan, came up with the California Crunchwrap. He added seasoned fries and guacamole to the classic Crunchwrap and says the mix “just worked” when he tested it.
Kajol from Louisville, Kentucky, designed the Burrito Bliss. She starts with a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito and adds extra pico de gallo, Fiesta Strips, and Avocado Ranch. She calls it “simple but really satisfying.”
Sandra from St. Louis, Missouri, created the Cantina Craze. She packed the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco with lettuce, tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, and Creamy Jalapeño Sauce. She landed on the mix after experimenting with toppings on the chicken taco.
How to Try the Items
The three Fan Style items appear only on the Taco Bell app and digital kiosks at select locations. Diners who want something new can test the creations for a limited time and maybe spark ideas for their next order.
