Tim Hortons shared some uplifting news as this year’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign came to an end. Canadians helped raise an impressive $13 million through the 2025 fundraiser. The money will support local charities, community groups and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. The company said this year’s total marked the highest amount ever collected during the holiday program.

Gratitude From Tim Hortons Leaders

Tim Hortons president Axel Schwan spoke about the effort behind the campaign and praised everyone who took part.

“We are so grateful to Tims restaurant owners, team members and volunteers across the country for their dedication to making this year's Holiday Smile Cookie campaign a huge success,” Schwan said. He also thanked customers from coast to coast. He said their kindness helped push the campaign to this new level.

“A huge thanks goes out to the countless Tims guests who purchased Holiday Smile Cookies for their generosity. With 100 per cent of proceeds from every cookie sold donated to local charities, community groups and Tims Camps, you've helped make a real difference in your community,” he said.

Holiday Smile Cookies Grow Each Year

The Holiday Smile Cookie campaign began in 2023. It quickly became a seasonal favourite for many Canadians. With this year’s results added in, the program has raised $33.5 million in just three years. The campaign supports a wide mix of local causes. Each region chooses where its funds go, making the donations more meaningful to the communities they serve.

Leaders at Tim Hortons said the steady rise in donations reflects the generosity of Canadians. They also said this year’s strong response shows how much people enjoy giving back during the holiday season.

Camps Benefit From Strong Support

The Tim Hortons Foundation Camps will receive part of the campaign’s total. These camps offer programs for youth who face barriers at home or in school. Many young campers attend at no cost because of fundraising efforts like the Smile Cookie week.

Caroline Barham, president of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and a Tim Hortons restaurant owner in Western Canada, shared her gratitude for the support.

“The generosity of Canadians never ceases to amaze us. More than just a festive treat, every Holiday Smile Cookie purchased makes a meaningful impact in communities across the country. And for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, this means that we can continue to empower underserved youth to build bigger and brighter futures,” Barham said.

She thanked the many people who helped shape this year’s success. “Thank you to everyone who made this week a success and for helping make the impossible possible,” she said.

A Treat With Community Impact

The Holiday Smile Cookie program gives people an easy way to support their neighbourhoods. Each cookie carries a simple message of kindness, and every dollar stays in Canada. With demand growing each year, the campaign continues to show how small actions can bring real change. Tim Hortons leaders said they hope to keep building on this momentum.
