Canada’s well-known smoothie brand Booster Juice has taken a major step toward convenience with the opening of its first-ever drive-thru location. The new store welcomed customers on Monday, January 5, offering a quicker way to enjoy smoothies, wraps, and snacks without leaving the car.
With more than 470 locations across the country, the launch marks a significant milestone for the company, which has focused on quick, feel-good food for people on the move for more than two decades.
Meeting changing customer needs
Franchise Partner Ana Bezarevic said the drive-thru responds to how customers live today.
"Customers seem to have less time nowadays, and this just sets us up to save our customers the need to go into our stores for a more convenient experience,"
The new setup allows guests to place orders quickly and continue on with their day, while still enjoying the same menu found inside traditional locations.
Inside the new drive-thru store
The first drive-thru store sits at the St. Clair Shores Shopping Centre at 29 Amy Croft Drive in Lakeshore, Ontario. The standalone building measures about 1,400 square feet and serves both drivers and walk-in customers.
The site includes a double-lane drive-thru designed to keep traffic moving. Five digital menu boards display the full menu along with current promotions, helping customers place orders easily from their vehicles. The space focuses on speed, quality, and smooth service.
Staying true to healthy roots
Company founder and chief executive Dale Wishewan said the drive-thru fits the brand’s long-standing mission.
"Our goal has always been to make healthy food more accessible,"
"With this drive-thru location, we're bringing our fresh, healthy products to our customers in a fast, convenient way, and with great customer service."
After 26 years, the brand continues to serve smoothies, wraps, paninis, Booster Balls, and fresh shots. The menu remains the same, but customers now have another way to enjoy it with less waiting.
Strong early response
The project has already drawn positive attention from partners involved in the development. Landlord and developer Steven Valente praised the team for bringing the idea to life.
"Congratulations to the entire Booster Juice team on the opening of this truly historic drive-thru store,"
"The result is something truly special, and it's inspiring to see the excitement and momentum this store has already generated."
Looking ahead
The opening signals a new chapter for the brand as it looks for fresh ways to serve busy Canadians. While the company has not confirmed plans for more drive-thru locations, the Lakeshore store may offer a glimpse into how future Booster Juice locations could look.
For now, customers can enjoy the same healthy favourites, just with the added ease of staying behind the wheel.
