Nature's Path Donates Love Crunch Granola to Support Communities (CNW Group/Nature's Path Foods Inc.)

Nature’s Path, North America’s largest independent organic breakfast brand, is celebrating 16 years of its premium Love Crunch granola. To mark this milestone, the company has launched the "Sweet 16 Acts of Love" initiative, aimed at giving back to communities in need. This special campaign focuses on helping families facing food insecurity across the U.S. and Canada.

A Sweet Start to a Big Milestone
The Sweet 16 Acts of Love initiative began during Valentine’s week and is in partnership with Feed the Children, a non-profit organization committed to fighting hunger. The campaign kicks off with volunteer events in 16 cities across the U.S., along with additional locations in Canada. These hands-on events involve packing and distributing food to families who need it most, bringing communities together for a noble cause.

"Love Crunch was founded on the belief that food can be a powerful way to give back, and that same belief has guided our 25-year partnership with Feed the Children," said Arjan Stephens, president of Nature's Path. "By working together, we’re able to support families experiencing food insecurity with organic nourishment and community-centered care."

A Tradition of Generosity
Sixteen years ago, Love Crunch began as a wedding favor created by Arjan and his wife, Dr. Rimjhim Duggal Stephens. The couple asked their wedding guests to make donations in place of giving gifts. This simple act of generosity inspired the creation of a brand rooted in giving back. Today, the tradition continues through initiatives like BITE4BITE™, which donates at least $2 million worth of food annually and has donated $57 million worth of organic food to food banks across the U.S. and Canada.

“Love Crunch began as something deeply personal for us,” said Dr. Rimjhim Duggal Stephens, a health and nutrition strategist at Nature’s Path. “At our wedding, Arjan and I asked our guests to give back instead of giving gifts. That simple act of generosity grew into a brand dedicated to spreading love and nourishment. Sixteen years later, that same spirit lives on through giveback initiatives like Sweet 16 Acts of Love.”

Feeding Families in Need
Nature’s Path’s partnership with Feed the Children has already made a significant impact, providing over 135,000 units of specialized aid. This includes organic oatmeal for families affected by disasters like Hurricane Helene and the California wildfires. In addition, thousands of cases of baby food and snacks have been distributed to communities across North America. The Sweet 16 Acts of Love initiative plans to build on this success in 2026 by delivering even more meals to children and families.

"At Feed the Children, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive," said Emily Callahan, president and CEO of Feed the Children. "Our long-standing partnership with Nature’s Path helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Together, we are building a future where no child goes to bed hungry."

A Hands-On Approach to Giving Back
The Sweet 16 Acts of Love campaign aims to engage volunteers across 16 U.S. cities, with hands-on service at Feed the Children distribution centers and local food banks. The initiative will provide additional meals to 16 food banks across the U.S., fostering a sense of community and giving. The program will begin at Feed the Children’s headquarters in Oklahoma City and continue in cities such as:

  • Birmingham, AL
  • Chandler, AZ
  • Anaheim, CA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • San Diego, CA
  • Denver, CO
  • Manchester, CT
  • Fort Myers, FL
  • Chicago, IL
  • Elkhart, IN
  • Boston, MA
  • Bethlehem, PA
  • La Vergne, TN
  • Haltom City, TX
  • Seattle, WA

Nature’s Path’s Sweet 16 Acts of Love campaign is more than just a celebration of 16 years of Love Crunch granola. It is a reminder of the power of community and the importance of giving back. Through its long-standing partnership with Feed the Children, Nature’s Path continues to make a difference, ensuring that families in need receive the support they deserve. By engaging communities and providing hands-on volunteer opportunities, the company is helping to create a world where no one goes hungry.
