Today kicks off a six-week nationwide food crawl organized by Jarritos in collaboration with 75 independent restaurants across Canada. Each participating restaurant is introducing a unique "off-menu" dish designed to complement one of Jarritos' 11 vibrant flavors.

Since 1950, Jarritos has been a beloved soda brand in Mexico, and now it's expanding its reach to local restaurants and diverse cuisines across Canada. The food crawl aims to demonstrate how seamlessly a Jarritos beverage pairs with any dish. While Jarritos is typically associated with popular taquerias, food enthusiasts are encouraged to explore its versatility with a wide range of cuisines.

Santiago Behar, Country Manager of Jarritos Canada, expresses the brand's commitment to authenticity, diversity, and flavor. The Jarritos Food Crawl challenges Canadians to step outside the norm of traditional soda choices and enjoy the classic and exotic flavors alongside their favorite neighborhood fare. Additionally, the initiative supports local restaurants by generating excitement and curiosity around their delicious offerings and Jarritos beverages.

The food crawl features an array of mouthwatering dishes, including mochi donuts with Jarritos-infused glaze, Sweet Chili Mustard Crispy Chicken paired with Mandarin Jarritos, and Australian Wagyu Brisket Pita with Jarritos Cola. With 11 flavors to choose from, including Pineapple, Mandarin, Lime, Guava, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Tamarind, Grapefruit, Watermelon, Mexican Cola, Mango, and Fruit Punch, there's something to satisfy every palate.

The off-menu dishes are available at participating restaurants in five Canadian cities: Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Halifax. The limited-time offerings aim to tantalize taste buds and create a memorable dining experience for customers seeking something new and exciting.

For those interested in exploring the food crawl, detailed lists of participating restaurants and their off-menu items are provided for each city. The food crawl runs from May 3 to June 14, 2024, offering ample time for foodies to sample the unique pairings at their leisure.

By supporting local restaurants and showcasing the versatility of Jarritos beverages, the food crawl encourages community engagement and culinary exploration. Whether patrons are craving a tangy Pineapple Jarritos with spicy tacos or a refreshing Grapefruit Jarritos with gourmet burgers, there's an off-menu pairing waiting to be discovered.

Overall, Jarritos' nationwide food crawl celebrates the fusion of flavor and culture, inviting Canadians to embark on a culinary journey filled with creativity and delicious discoveries.
