This Mini PC boasts a sleek metal casing featuring rounded corners and an anodized matte finish. Despite its compact size, smaller than the palm of a hand, the A8 Mini PC seamlessly adapts to various desktop configurations.
The GEEKOM A8 comes in two variants, offering users the choice between two processors from the AMD HawkPoint family: the Ryzen 7 8845HS and the Ryzen 9 8945HS. Both chips feature a quad-core Zen 8 CPU architecture, 16 threads, 16 MB L3 cache, an integrated AMD Radeon 780M GPU, and a Ryzen AI neural processing unit. However, the Ryzen 9 8945HS boasts slightly higher performance due to its increased CPU and GPU frequencies.
Equipped with an enhanced neural processing unit, the A8 Mini PC can handle 60% more AI-related tasks compared to mini PCs powered by Ryzen's previous-generation 7040 chips, marking a significant advancement in AI-based computing. Regardless of the CPU option selected, each unit comes equipped with 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM dual-channel RAM, a speedy 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe4.0x4 SSD, a wireless card supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and a licensed copy of the Windows 11 operating system.
