In contrast, Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa, married to hedge fund manager James Matthews, resides in a grand estate that stands in stark contrast to her sister's modest royal cottage.
Pippa Middleton, aged forty, resides in Berkshire in a 32-room Georgian mansion set on a vast 150-acre property, which she purchased for £15 million in 2022. Reports from the MailOnline indicate that Pippa and James have made significant changes to the estate, including the installation of a large swimming pool by excavating the historic walled garden.

Recently, Pippa was spotted vacationing with her husband and their three children: Arthur, Grace, and Rose. However, concerns have arisen over the potential impact on the historical integrity of the estate, as the couple plans to build over an ancient wall. There are also worries about disturbing nearby Middle Stone Age sites due to the extensive excavation involved.
In a notable contrast, the home of the Prince and Princess of Wales at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor is a more modest affair. After relocating from Kensington Palace, William and Kate chose this cozy abode nestled within the 655-acre Windsor estate. Adelaide Cottage, originally constructed for Queen Adelaide and constructed using materials from the nearby Royal Lodge, features four bedrooms and boasts a distinctive candy-pink exterior.

Before their move in 2022, Adelaide Cottage underwent renovations, including the addition of a Graeco-Egyptian marble fireplace and a master bedroom adorned with a ceiling painted with dolphins.
Ensuring outdoor space for their children was a priority for the royal couple, who opted not to employ live-in staff; instead, aides commute from around Windsor.
Before Kate became a royal, she shared a £1.8 million apartment in affluent Chelsea with Pippa. Purchased by their parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, in 2002 for £780,000, the three-bedroom apartment was sold in 2018 for £1.88 million.
