As the winter season approaches, many people are already planning their much-needed getaways. Alaska Airlines is making it easier for travelers to escape the chill with new, non-stop flights to some of the most sought-after destinations across North and Latin America. The airline has just announced 10 new seasonal routes that will connect more cities to winter-friendly locales, giving travelers plenty of options for their holiday vacations.
Starting immediately, Alaska Airlines is launching a non-stop flight between Los Angeles, California, and La Paz, Mexico. This sunny destination offers a perfect escape from the cold, and the new route makes Alaska Airlines the U.S. airline with the most flights from the West Coast to various locations in Mexico. With this new service, travelers can quickly reach the beautiful beaches of La Paz, making it an ideal winter vacation spot.

Looking ahead to December, Alaska Airlines is expanding its offerings even further with new routes designed to cater to winter travelers. Some of the additional routes include flights from Fresno, California, to Guadalajara, Mexico, and from Boise to Bozeman and Orange County, California. These routes open up more destinations for those looking to experience different winter settings, from warm beaches to snowy mountain towns.

For those seeking a cozy winter retreat in the mountains, Alaska Airlines will soon offer flights from Los Angeles to Kelowna, B.C., which is known for its breathtaking ski resorts. Travelers from San Diego will also have direct access to Reno, Nevada, a popular spot for both winter sports and lively casinos. Vail, Colorado, another top winter destination, will also become more accessible with new flights from San Diego and Seattle.

Alaska Airlines is also introducing service to Liberia, Costa Rica, with new flights from Seattle and San Francisco. This destination promises beautiful beaches and a tropical climate, offering a completely different winter experience for travelers looking to escape the cold.

“We’re excited to provide our guests with easier access to these sought-after destinations where they can experience winter on their own terms,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of network planning and revenue management for Alaska Airlines. The new routes will not only enhance travelers' options but also help meet the growing demand for seasonal vacation spots, whether they are seeking warmth, adventure, or relaxation.

The new flights are a clear indication of Alaska Airlines' commitment to offering a wide range of choices for travelers looking to make the most of the winter season. Whether you’re looking to ski, relax on a beach, or explore new cities, Alaska Airlines is helping to make your winter getaway dreams a reality.
