With a luxury hotel density score of 0.87 and an affordability score of 33.66, the Maldives continues to be a popular destination for travelers seeking both extravagance and value.

In second place is Qatar, a country with a robust luxury hotel market of 280 properties. The average nightly rate for a five-star hotel is $237.67, while two-star accommodations can be found for as little as $43.92. This affordability across different price points makes Qatar an attractive option for a variety of budgets, from luxury to more budget-conscious travelers.

Japan follows closely behind, ranking third in the study. Japan offers a wide range of accommodations, with two-star hotels averaging just $28.42 per night. The country's high affordability score of 100 makes it a highly accessible destination for travelers, while its high-end options provide luxury experiences for those looking to splurge.

Switzerland takes fourth place, with a luxury-focused hotel market that offers stunning alpine scenery. The average nightly rate for five-star hotels is $617.43, which is slightly less than other high-end destinations. Switzerland's balanced approach between luxury and affordability makes it a top destination for travelers looking for both quality and value.

Iceland, known for its dramatic landscapes and geothermal experiences, ranks fifth. The country has 93 five-star hotels, with an average nightly rate of $1,165.10. While Iceland's high-end accommodations may be costly, the country's affordability score of 81.26 makes it an attractive destination for travelers seeking exclusive experiences at a relatively affordable price.

The UAE lands in sixth place, with a strong luxury hotel market offering a variety of accommodations from two-star to five-star properties. The average nightly rate for a five-star stay is not specified, but the country is known for its diverse offerings that appeal to both budget and luxury travelers.

Austria ranks seventh, surprising many with its luxury accommodations. The country offers five-star hotels at an average of $511.51 per night, along with a broad range of affordable three-star options. Austria's mix of luxury and accessibility makes it an attractive option for travelers seeking a bit of both.

Luxembourg, despite its small size, ranks ninth. The country offers a highly efficient hotel market with five-star stays averaging just $248 per night. For those looking for budget options, two-star accommodations start at $85.25, making Luxembourg an excellent choice for travelers seeking luxury on a budget.

Denmark rounds out the top 10, offering five-star accommodations at an average of $387.51 per night. The country is known for its well-balanced hospitality market, featuring a mix of luxury and affordable options. Denmark is also gaining popularity as a travel destination in Europe, making it a great time to visit.
