American Cruise Lines is starting its 2025 Mississippi River cruise season earlier than planned, catering to football fans traveling to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. To mark the occasion, Big Game Travel has chartered two of the company’s riverboats, the American Melody and the American Serenade, offering exclusive 3- and 4-night packages to fans.

These private cruises offer football enthusiasts a special experience, complete with private balcony accommodations. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of private transportation directly to the Superdome for the big game, making the journey to and from the stadium seamless.

The move comes as several other American Cruise Lines ships are already docked in New Orleans, preparing for the official start of the Mississippi River cruise season, which begins on February 21. The company is anticipating another busy year on the river, offering travelers a range of itineraries.

American Cruise Lines will provide over 12 different trips along the Mississippi River throughout the year, offering various lengths of stays. The trips range from 8-day vacations, perfect for a quick getaway, to longer explorations that can span up to 51 days. These cruises promise scenic views, relaxation, and plenty of opportunity to experience the beauty and history of the iconic river.

Whether for the Super Bowl or an extended getaway, American Cruise Lines offers a unique way for guests to experience the Mississippi River and New Orleans this season.
