Nelly Furtado made a bold fashion statement in Miami on Tuesday. The 46-year-old singer attended the first gala for Karol G's Con Cora Land Foundation, wearing a striking dress that turned heads.
She stepped out in a nude-coloured, body-hugging gown with black spots. The unique design created an illusion of an even smaller waist, enhancing her hourglass figure. She completed the look with a wavy ponytail, glossy lips, bold eye makeup, large hoop earrings, and a stylish chain necklace.
At the event, Nelly radiated confidence, something she had openly embraced in her forties. During a podcast interview in November, she shared how working on her inner self has helped her feel more secure than ever.

"I feel super happy with myself, even when I get criticized," she said. "You know yourself in your forties. Even my thirties seem like a lifetime ago."
She also described turning 46 as a fresh start. "It's a very fun time in my life," she added.
Nelly has been open about her self-care routine, emphasizing self-love and personal growth. In January, she posted an inspiring message while posing in an orange bikini, reflecting on the pressures of the entertainment industry.
"This year, I became more aware of the aesthetic pressure in my work while also experiencing new levels of self-love and confidence," she wrote.
She also addressed rumours about cosmetic surgery, firmly stating that she has never undergone any face or body procedures.
"I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides veneers on my top teeth," she clarified. She also denied using face or lip fillers, crediting her youthful glow to a consistent skincare routine.
"I have a loving, old-school facialist who provides my serums and creams. I started that when I was 20," she shared.

"The day before big events, I drink a lot of water and sleep on my back," she explained.
She mentioned that makeup artists sometimes use face tape to lift her features, while stylists use body tape to create different silhouettes. Contoured body makeup is also used for certain looks.
Ending on a positive note, Nelly encouraged self-acceptance and individuality.
"My New Year's message for 2025 is: express yourself freely, celebrate your individuality, and know that it's perfectly OK to love what you see in the mirror. And it's also OK to want something different. We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs."
