Hoper provides flights to 15 destinations across the Aegean Sea. Travel Pulse

Traveling between Greece’s many islands is about to get faster and more convenient. A new helicopter service, Hoper, is making it easier for tourists to move between popular destinations. The company launched last year and is now teaming up with travel agencies, hotels, and booking platforms to improve travel experiences before the 2025 summer season begins.

Hoper is Greece’s first scheduled helicopter service, offering a unique way to explore the country. It focuses on short trips between islands, which can often be difficult to reach by ferry or plane. George Kyvernitis, CEO of Hoper’s parent company, Kyvernitis Group, believes the service will transform island travel.

“In a market where short distances and tricky routes make travel difficult, Hoper’s helicopter service is a game-changer,” Kyvernitis said. “By using advanced technology and working closely with travel agencies, booking platforms, and management companies, we are making travel easier and more enjoyable.”

The company is based in Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos. It currently serves 15 destinations across the Aegean Sea. Hoper’s goal is to offer a smoother and faster alternative to traditional island hopping.

Hoper’s parent company, Kyvernitis Group, also owns a division called Eclectic Greece, which specializes in high-end travel services, particularly for American tourists. This division plays a big role in promoting the helicopter service to luxury travelers.

In addition to working with travel advisors, Hoper is also partnering with luxury hotels and resorts. This collaboration allows tourists to enjoy seamless travel experiences, making it easier to visit multiple islands in a short period.

With Greece being one of the world’s top travel destinations, Hoper’s new service could change the way people explore the country. By reducing travel time and offering a unique experience, the company aims to attract more visitors who want a hassle-free way to visit Greece’s beautiful islands.
