Raleigh native and five-time NBA All-Star John Wall has officially retired from professional basketball. The former No. 1 overall draft pick made the announcement on Tuesday through an emotional video posted on social media. Wall, who turns 35 on September 6, last played in the 2022-23 season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
