India kicked off their Asia Cup 2025 campaign in Dubai with a stunning display of dominance. Facing the United Arab Emirates in their opening Group A match, India bundled out UAE for just 57 runs, the lowest Asia Cup T20 total in history. The chase was even more ruthless, as India sealed the win in only 4.3 overs, completing one of the most one-sided T20I matches ever.

Kuldeep Yadav Spins a Web

Kuldeep Yadav, played a brilliant innings that helped India win the match against the UAE in the Asia Cup 2025. The left-arm wrist-spinner delivered a magical spell, picking up four wickets. His ninth over turned the match into a demolition. UAE slipped from 48/2 to 50/5 in no time, and the collapse was irreversible.

Kuldeep’s figures ensured he was rightly crowned Player of the Match. His spell reminded fans why he is considered India’s match-winner in the middle overs.

Shivam Dube’s All-Round Impact

While Kuldeep was the star, Shivam Dube also made a big impact with the ball. The all-rounder bagged three crucial wickets, keeping the UAE batters under constant pressure. His pace variations proved too good for the inexperienced opposition.

Together, Kuldeep and Dube dismantled the batting order, restricting UAE to a score that was never going to trouble the world’s No. 1 T20I side.

India’s Ruthless Chase in Asia Cup 2025 Openings

The chase was nothing short of fireworks. Abhishek Sharma set the tone with explosive strokes right from the first over. He smashed boundaries and sixes with ease, racing to 30 runs off just 15 balls before falling to a big shot.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav made his presence felt immediately. His very first ball was pulled for six over fine-leg, showing intent and aggression. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill calmly steered India to the finish line, hitting the winning runs in the fifth over.

India ended at 60/1 in just 4.3 overs, securing victory with a massive 93 balls to spare.

Record-Breaking Win for India

This India vs UAE clash entered the record books in multiple ways. The match was the fourth-shortest completed T20I involving a full-member side, lasting just 106 deliveries.

India’s win with 93 balls remaining was their second-largest margin in T20I history by balls left. Their previous best was against Scotland in 2021, where they won with 81 balls to spare.

The Asia Cup 2025 opener also stands as one of the most lopsided encounters ever witnessed at the international level.

Warning Shot to Rivals

India’s performance has sent a strong warning to other teams in Group A, which also includes Pakistan and Oman. With such a dominant start, India’s confidence will be sky-high ahead of their next match against Pakistan on September 14.

The India vs Pakistan clash promises to be a high-voltage contest, but after this emphatic win, Suryakumar Yadav’s men will enter as clear favorites.

The India vs UAE Asia Cup 2025 match was a statement of intent. India’s bowlers dismantled UAE with skill, and their batters finished the job with ruthless efficiency. Kuldeep Yadav’s brilliance, Shivam Dube’s support, and explosive batting ensured one of the quickest and most dominant victories in T20I history.

With the Asia Cup heating up, India’s rivals now know they are facing a team hungry for another title.
