The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) will host a special benefit concert on December 10. The event, called Harmonies of Hope, aims to support Jamaica after the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa. JTB says the concert will bring people together through music while raising funds for recovery work across the island.

The concert will take place in North York, Ontario. Many organizers and partners stepped forward to help create a meaningful night for the Jamaican community and supporters across Canada.

Well-known artists join the lineup

Harmonies of Hope will feature several well-known performers. The lineup includes Shawn Jones, Quisha Wint, Jully Black, Mark Steele, and Renee Rowe. These artists will perform a selection of songs by Bob Marley. The music will highlight messages of strength, unity, and hope.

The organizers say the concert will offer an uplifting experience. They want guests to enjoy a powerful evening while supporting a country that continues to rebuild.

Hurricane Melissa left lasting damage in many areas. The JTB hopes the event will raise strong community support and help move recovery projects forward.

Details for guests and supporters

Tickets will go on sale soon on Ticketmaster. Each ticket will cost $150. The concert will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Meridian Arts Centre. The show will begin in the evening and welcome guests from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

The venue donated its space for the event. Ticketmaster also offered its ticket platform to support the cause. These contributions help keep the focus on raising funds for relief efforts.

People who want to support the event in other ways may choose sponsorship options. Interested companies can contact the organizers by email at [email protected].

The JTB says every dollar raised will go toward rebuilding homes, community spaces, and local services in Jamaica. Many families still face long-term challenges after the storm. The concert aims to strengthen those recovery efforts and show support from the Jamaican diaspora in Canada.

A meaningful show with a clear purpose

The JTB hopes the concert will create a strong sense of togetherness. The organization says the event blends Jamaican culture, community spirit, and music that lifts people’s hearts. Guests will hear powerful performances and memories of Marley’s classic messages of hope.

Organizers say the event reflects the island’s spirit. They want audiences to enjoy a memorable night while helping communities rebuild. The concert also gives Canadians a chance to show their support for a country many love to visit.

As December approaches, excitement grows around the gathering. Supporters hope the event will raise strong funds and shine a light on the work still needed. JTB says Harmonies of Hope will offer a warm night of music during a difficult time for many families in Jamaica.
