Jennifer Lopez opened her new Las Vegas stage run with confidence and humour, and she made sure the crowd heard her message loud and clear. On Dec. 30, the 56-year-old star launched Up All Night Live and spoke directly about the harsh comments she often sees online. She told fans she no longer lets the negativity bother her and shared how experience has taught her to brush it aside.
“Thank God I've been doing this a long time. I can just ignore a lot of it. It really doesn't mean nothing. I tell my kids that all the time,” she said to cheers from the audience. She added that some comments even make her laugh. “I do laugh at some of the things sometimes, because they do say funny things too.”

Turning Criticism Into Confidence
Lopez did not shy away from talking about the criticism aimed at her fashion choices. She repeated some of the remarks she often hears about her outfits and age. With a grin, she delivered a bold response that brought the house down.
“Why she always dressed that way? Why don't she dress her age? Why she always naked? And I said, 'If you had this booty, you’d be naked too,'” she joked. She then turned to give the crowd a playful look at her sequin fringe minidress before covering it with a feathered skirt.

The new production leans heavily into the glamour that made Lopez a global star. Throughout the show, she stepped out in a series of eye-catching outfits that mixed old Hollywood style with modern flair. She wore a soft pink feather robe and gown, a plunging corset, and a sparkling bodysuit inspired by classic tuxedos.

This residency marks her first Las Vegas run since her hugely successful shows from 2016 to 2018, which drew massive crowds and record earnings. Up All Night continues with performances through early January, followed by more shows scheduled for March 2026.
