If you're eyeing a cruise but can't quite settle on a specific ship, destination, or date, MSC has a solution tailored just for you: 'open booking.'

This option allows travelers to secure a cruise without the need to finalize all the details upfront. Instead, they pay a reduced deposit of $100/€100/£100 per person, granting them a certificate valid for up to 12 months to select their preferred sailing vacation or holiday.

For those who decide on their ship and departure date within 60 days of making the booking, MSC offers up to $200/€200/£200 of onboard credit per cabin. Alternatively, guests can take up to a year to decide and still receive up to $100 in onboard credits.

The open booking concept aims to cater to travelers who prefer flexibility in their cruise plans. It can also serve as a thoughtful gift for loved ones interested in cruising.

An MSC spokesperson highlighted the program's intent to provide guests with more flexibility while earning future credits for their next sea adventure. Additionally, travel advisors stand to benefit, receiving full commissions when guests finalize their ship and itinerary choices.

The 'Open Booking' initiative is part of MSC Cruises' broader 'Future Cruise' program introduced last year, reflecting the company's commitment to enhancing customer options and experiences.

For further information on both programs, interested individuals can visit MSC Cruises' website or consult with travel advisors.
