AAA has announced the addition of five new hotels and one restaurant to its prestigious Four Diamond list. AAA Inspectors conduct thorough evaluations throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica, assessing establishments based on cleanliness, comfort, cuisine, and consistency. The latest additions hail from Canada, Mexico, and Florida, showcasing upscale amenities and exceptional service.

The Paradox Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the AZUR Legacy Collection Hotel are among the newly designated Four Diamond properties. Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers, Florida, and the Aguascalientes Marriott Hotel and Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico in Mexico have also received this distinguished recognition. Additionally, Mixtli, a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, has been honored for its outstanding dining experience.

Meanwhile, two AAA Five Diamond hotels have maintained their esteemed status for another year. The Ritz-Carlton in Dove Mountain, Arizona, has held this prestigious designation since 2015, while Salamander Middleburg in Middleburg, Virginia, has retained its Five Diamond rating since 2022.

These designations reflect AAA Inspectors' commitment to upholding quality and consistency in the hospitality industry. The inspectors conduct rigorous, unannounced evaluations to ensure that each property meets AAA's stringent criteria. Currently, there are approximately 130 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants, along with 1,700 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants.

Diamond properties offer unparalleled luxury and dining experiences, with Four Diamond establishments providing upscale amenities and distinctive fine dining options. Travelers can plan visits to these properties using AAA's free travel planning tool, Trip Canvas, or seek recommendations and reservations from AAA travel agents.

AAA's Diamond ratings are based on the four Cs: cleanliness, comfort, cuisine, and consistency. These evaluations are conducted using advanced technology, such as ATP surface testing for cleanliness and anonymous dining assessments for restaurants. Unlike subjective star ratings, AAA Diamond inspections adhere to published guidelines based on industry standards.

Founded in 1902, AAA began as an organization advocating for better roads in America and promoting safe mobility. Today, it has evolved into one of North America's largest membership organizations, serving 64 million members, including over 57 million in the United States. AAA offers a range of services, including roadside assistance, travel planning, discounts, and financial and insurance services, aimed at enhancing the journey of its members.
