Environment Canada has issued a series of weather advisories covering most of the Atlantic region. A prolonged period of rainfall, occasionally heavy, is expected across much of New Brunswick until Saturday morning. Additionally, parts of western to central New Brunswick could receive up to 15 centimeters of snow by Saturday.
Southwestern and western Newfoundland, including the Great Northern Peninsula and Green Bay — White Bay, are anticipated to experience up to 30 millimeters of rain, potentially heavy at times.
In Nova Scotia, regions such as Annapolis, Digby, Yarmouth, Shelburne, and Queens counties could see up to 20 millimeters of rain by Saturday. This precipitation may lead to localized flooding.
Furthermore, Prince County in Prince Edward Island may witness rain transitioning into snow on Saturday morning before tapering off in the evening.
