In Toronto, William Nylander's return from injury and Joseph Woll's standout goaltending performance propelled the Maple Leafs to a 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins, forcing a decisive Game 7.

Nylander scored twice, while Woll made 22 saves, igniting hope for a series win, a feat achieved only once in franchise history. The Leafs, trailing 3-1, have now won two consecutive games, setting the stage for a winner-take-all showdown in Boston.

Despite missing star player Auston Matthews due to injury, Toronto displayed resilience and determination, drawing parallels to historic comebacks in the team's past. Woll's stellar performance in goal, combined with Nylander's offensive prowess, rejuvenated the Leafs' playoff campaign, while Boston faces mounting pressure to regain momentum.

The series winner will advance to face the well-rested Florida Panthers in the second round, with both teams eyeing a crucial victory to secure their playoff ambitions.
