Etihad Airways introduces new flight routes to Boston and Toronto this fall

Etihad Airways is gearing up to enhance its flight services across North America this autumn with exciting new routes scheduled for Boston and Toronto.

Starting October 27, the UAE's national airline will elevate its non-stop flights between Boston and Abu Dhabi from four times a week to a daily service. This decision follows a robust performance since the route's launch in March, driven by high passenger demand.

Arik De, Etihad's chief revenue and commercial officer, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, citing Boston's strong market response. He highlighted the airline's commitment to meeting increased travel needs, especially ahead of the winter season.

Boston marks Etihad's fourth destination in the United States, joining Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C. The daily flights from Boston Logan International Airport to Abu Dhabi operate using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This aircraft boasts state-of-the-art features including Business Studios and Economy Smart seats, ensuring a comfortable travel experience with entertainment systems, in-seat power, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Etihad's strategic timing of the new Boston service aims to facilitate seamless connections for both corporate travelers and leisure guests, linking to a broad network across the UAE, Gulf region, and India.

In addition to bolstering services from Boston, Etihad will introduce daily flights to Toronto Pearson Airport starting the same day, October 27. These flights will be operated using the Airbus A350, known for its eco-efficiency with 25% less fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions compared to previous models.

The Airbus A350 features Etihad’s latest cabin interiors, including 44 Business Studios. Each Business class seat converts into a fully flat bed, complemented by noise-cancelling headphones and an expansive 18.5-inch TV screen.

Etihad's expansion into Toronto underscores its commitment to enhancing connectivity and service excellence across North America, catering to a diverse range of travelers with superior comfort and efficiency.
